★ Overview

One shipment.
Ready to install.

Magnus's turnkey assembly capability is the most popular service among our long-term clients. Instead of you managing 5-10 vendors for cast parts, machined components, fasteners, gaskets, and packaging — Magnus assembles it all and ships you a finished product.

Typical Magnus assembly programmes: pump assemblies (cast body + machined internals + seals + fasteners), gearbox sub-assemblies (forged shafts + ground gears + bearings + housing), and full electromechanical assemblies (machined parts + motor + sensors + wire harness + enclosure). Final product passes performance testing before shipment.

02

Process Control

Torque values, sealant application, alignment checks per work instruction. Poka-yoke fixtures where applicable.

03

Functional Test

100% functional or performance test on every finished assembly per OEM spec. Test data logged.

04

Final QC

Visual, dimensional, labelling, packaging audit. Each unit serialised for traceability before shipping.

★ Frequently Asked

Assembly
FAQs.

How do you protect IP across multiple sub-suppliers?
Each sub-supplier signs Magnus-issued NDAs before receiving any drawings. Magnus only shares drawings on a need-to-know basis — the casting supplier sees only the casting drawing, not the full assembly. The final assembly happens at a single Magnus-controlled supplier with restricted access. For maximum security, we can also arrange supplier facilities under exclusive Magnus management.
Can you integrate components I supply (free-issue)?
Yes. "Free-issue" or consigned components are common — typically motors, sensors, control boards, or branded parts you've negotiated separately. Magnus receives them at the assembly plant, integrates them per BOM, and ships finished assemblies. We track consigned inventory and provide weekly stock reports.
What about UL, CE, FCC compliance for assemblies?
Magnus coordinates compliance testing for finished assemblies — CE marking for EU, UL listing for US/Canada, FCC for electronics, IEC/EN standards for industrial equipment. We work with TÜV, Intertek, SGS, and BIS-approved labs. Testing typically takes 4-8 weeks; we include compliance management in the assembly programme.
How is pricing structured for turnkey assemblies?
Two structures available: (1) Cost-plus — transparent BOM with each component priced, assembly cost separated, Magnus margin disclosed; popular with long-term clients. (2) All-in fixed price — single per-unit price covering all components, assembly, testing, and packaging; popular for clients who want simplicity. We recommend cost-plus for the first 12 months, transitioning to fixed price once volumes stabilise.
